NELLIE (Lunar Instrument GSE Interface)

During my time at NASA Ames, I designed the NELLIE interface and a suite of other ground-support equipment to test and interact with NIRVSS. It provides and monitors power to the various subsystems of NIRVSS, and provides a computer interface for communication. NIRVSS will be installed on the VIPER lunar rover to characterize volatiles including H₂O in lunar regolith, and will also be used with NELLIE for terrestrial use.
